Transfiguration – A Zine of Fragments of Trans Embodiment
Transfiguration is a visual zine about the lived, felt, and imagined experience of trans embodiment—fragile, sacred, and always in motion.
These images are not illustrations of theory.
They are traces of emergence:
between fracture and return,
between surveillance and witness,
between numbness and sensory bloom,
between the body you were given and the one you grow toward.
Each figure stands at a threshold—
fantasmatic, psychic, bodily.
Sometimes a wound. Sometimes an opening.
Sometimes a ghost. Sometimes a song.
This zine is not meant to resolve.
It is a record of fragments held briefly in sequence,
a constellation of states that refuse disappearance.
If you have lived in a body that never fully aligned with its image,
you may find something familiar here—
a shape, a breath, a shadow returning.
Witness the becoming.
